The Arts Center features a 490 seat proscenium theater designed for full scale performances. Excellent sight lines are achieved with a U-shaped plan of stepped seating and a balcony, whereby no seat is more than 35 feet from the stage. This configuration also allows the use of a semi-thrust stage when the orchestra pit is not in use.
A 225 seat experimental black-box theater provides a variety of seating and performance arrangements, including the ability to transform the adjacent elevated dance studio into a large stage by opening a retractable wall between the spaces.
In addition, the building includes a dance studio, faculty offices, costume and scene construction shops, and voice practice rooms.
