Carbon County Home for the Aged, now known as "Weatherwood", is a 200 bed custodial nursing complex constructed on a 60 acre site in Weatherly, Pennsylvania.
The 110,000 sq. ft. building is arranged in three two-story clusters, two of which are 100 bed nursing wings.
A third cluster houses patient care facilities such as Therapy Suites, Pharmacy, Laboratories, Dispensary and X-ray Rooms. This cluster also provides Social and Recreational Facilities including Dining Rooms, Game Room, and Chapel for ambulatory residents and their guests.
Carbon County Home for the Aged is a well-equipped, efficiently planned building which has been designed to provide comfort and therapeutic treatment in a dignified and cheerful atmosphere.
