Centrally located on campus, the chapel is used for both religious and academic functions. Minimal upgrades have been done to the chapel since its construction in 1967 calling for the facility to upgrade to 21st century learning demands. A new audiovisual system, a large-scale projection screen, and a console control area will enhance academic presentations. The dark brick walls will be painted a lighter color and existing lighting will be replaced with new LED, high efficiency light fixtures to create a more inviting and pleasant environment. The narthex/stage will be enlarged to incorporate a ramp for ADA access and modified to be flexible for different events. The chapel's lobby will also be renovated to create a better entry experience to the main narthex space.
