Coppee Hall, which is located prominently on the Lehigh University Campus, has been designated by the University as a Historic Building worthy of preservation.
Breslin Architects was engaged to renovate and restore the building for use by the College of Journalism.
The structure was essentially gutted and the first two floors were converted to classrooms and faculty offices, except that the original ornamental staircase inside the main entrance was restored and refurbished. The top floor of the building was converted to computer classrooms and the roof trusses were retained and restored resulting in a lofty and attractive series of spaces.
