Breslin Architects was honored with an award from AIA Eastern Pennsylvania for the design of this new 1,000 student Middle School.
Located on the same space as the High School, this new school was placed to create a campus-like environment. Students from each school share facilities including the renovated stadium, a common bus loading facility, and parking strategically placed between the schools.
The school is organized around a three-story classroom wing which accommodates a grade level on each floor.
A trellis identifies the main entrance and provides a protected patio for students to socialize next to the school’s cafeteria.
