Reconstruction of the primary lounge in Moravian University’s student union building dramatically transformed the character of this space. Students commented that the previous lounge was cold and institutional, lacking warm and cozy spaces. The renovated room is now inviting and comfortable. The new design features a 360° fireplace surrounded by a variety of seating and tables. Wood partitions, trusses and flooring add warmth and enhance the collegiate imagery. New track lighting and abundant natural light vitalize the features of the room.
An adjacent outdoor courtyard was also refurbished. New landscaping, pavers, benches, adirondack chairs and a garden trellis, surround a new stone fire pit.
